SMARTFENSE winner of the Cybersecurity Ventures program of INCIBE

After four months of training and mentoring with experts, along with networking activities with investors and companies in the Cybersecurity Ventures program, our experience comes to an end in the best way possible: SMARTFENSE is the winning company of the program!

On February 21, 2018, at the facilities of The Cube Madrid, the Demo Day took place, the final day of the acceleration program, where the participating startups presented their final pitches to a large jury comprised of representatives from investment funds, major corporations, and public institutions.

In front of a packed auditorium, our CEO, Mauro Graziosi, took on the challenge of delivering a 7-minute pitch covering all the work done both inside and outside the acceleration program.

Once all participants had finished their presentations and after a nerve-wracking Networking Cocktail, the jury announced SMARTFENSE as the winner of the acceleration program.

To make this decision, the jury evaluated each startup based on innovation and competitive advantage, market identification, business model and scalability, current and future commercial traction, and the suitability of the team to achieve future milestones.

We would like to thank INCIBE, the driving force behind this program, as well as the collaborating organizations: the Junta de Castilla y León, the City Council of León, and the Leonese Institute of Economic Development, Training, and Employment, for this unique opportunity and the recognition they have given us.

We also extend our thanks to the incredible team of experts from Tecnalia, who led the mentoring and training process, and to the entrepreneurs who accompanied us throughout the program (Dinoflux, Dualogy, Ensotest, Ironchip, Keynetic, Kymatio, Newralers, Securekids, and Syneidis). Their presence made this program a place of great learning and healthy competition.

Lastly, we want to thank our families, friends, partners, clients, and all those who took the time to support us, offering their advice and encouragement to help us move forward steadily throughout the program.

This event marks a very important milestone in the journey that we at SMARTFENSE will continue with pride, determination, and great motivation.
