SMARTFENSE adds ACERO://CÓDIGO, a cybersecurity manga, to its content catalog

SMARTFENSE released chapter 0 of ACERO://CÓDIGO on 7 September 2026, a cybersecurity manga produced by its own content team. The chapter is called “Dos mundos, una grieta” and sits in the platform’s content catalog, available on every plan and in every language.

The story takes place in one Japanese city, Kanazawa, across two eras centuries apart. In the Age of Steel, demons steal the essence of people. In the Age of Code, those same demons operate as digital attackers, running the same plays with new tools.

That two-era structure is what sets the work apart from conventional training content. It separates the mechanics of the deception from the technology that carries it, so what a reader learns still holds when the attack channel changes. The antagonist is the oni, the figure Japanese storytelling already has for an entity that steals a person’s essence and evolves with the times, instead of the hooded silhouette in front of a screen. Each protagonist also carries a flaw of their own, and each character arc maps to a behavior that can be trained.

The SMARTFENSE content team, led by Chief Content Officer Carla Caggiano, produced all of the material in house: the model sheets for the three protagonists, the environments of both eras and the finished color pages. The format is episodic and the first season is planned as seven chapters.

Chapter 0 is already in the platform’s content catalog and reaches every plan.
