ConfSec is the leading cybersecurity conference in southern Italy. Its 11th edition took place in Monopoli on 24 September 2026 and focused on security in the age of artificial intelligence.

The theme raised a question SMARTFENSE often hears from organizations: if AI makes attacks more convincing, how do you prepare the people who receive them? For SMARTFENSE, the answer is to measure human risk, understand where it concentrates and work on awareness continuously.

Giuseppe Filippo represented SMARTFENSE at the conference. He joined the company on 14 September 2026 as Account Executive for Italy and is part of the team dedicated to the Italian market, one of the fastest-growing teams at SMARTFENSE over the past year.

In June, SMARTFENSE sponsored Sicurezza ICT Padova, in the north of the country.
