SMARTFENSE took part in ANDICOM 2026, the conference organized by CCIT in Cartagena, from 1 to 4 September. Lissette Carranza, Account Executive Colombia, and Juan Sebastián Berón, Territory Sales Manager for Colombia, were there for all four days with a schedule of twenty-minute meetings.
ANDICOM is the annual technology conference organized by CCIT in Colombia, and it brings together public and private organizations from across the country. The SMARTFENSE presence at the 2026 edition included neither a booth nor a talk. The format was twenty-minute meetings with anyone who wanted to see the platform on screen.
In those meetings the team walked through setting up a full program, from loading users to publishing the first campaign, a simulation that assigns content dynamically based on each person’s behavior, the risk dashboard by person, area and role, and evidence exports traceable per person.
Most of the organizations that sat down were integrators and channel companies. The rest were end users in banking, healthcare, aviation and energy. In Colombia, Act 1581 on personal data protection and its implementing decree, 1377, remain the starting point for how local organizations build their security programs, and training evidence is one of the pieces they have to be able to show.
Juan Sebastián Berón has been Territory Sales Manager for Colombia since July 2026, and Lissette Carranza covers the market from Bogotá.
