How does the integration work?

With a simple setup, SMARTFENSE integrates with Microsoft Teams.

All notifications (welcome messages, content assignments, reminders, etc.) will be sent to users through this platform.

White label

This integration is 100% white-label. The Teams messages will be sent to users from an account within their own organization.

Nudges

Nudges are brief messages designed to influence specific security behaviors of users. The goal is to guide people toward the right decision at the most opportune moment.

If configured for delivery via Microsoft Teams, users can benefit from real-time notifications from this app, thus finding greater value in the Nudges.

Interventions

Interventions are actions that are automatically executed when a risk event occurs. The goal of these actions is to mitigate the identified risk.

In the case of Microsoft Teams, if a user engages in risky behavior (such as sharing a document with confidential information), a possible intervention could be to automatically delete that message.
