added to the average breach cost when Shadow AI is involved

Gartner expects at least 80% of unauthorized AI transactions to come from internal breaches of company policy rather than external attacks. What decides the outcome is the behavior of the person using the tool.

Six formats of AI security awareness training

Everything sits in the information security catalog for end users, included with any plan, so each piece can be launched as is, edited or used as a template.

14

Videos

One-minute white-label clips, to open a campaign or close a module.

7

Interactive Modules

Guided paths with assessment on prompt hygiene, Shadow AI, verification, agent permissions, internal policy, AI governance and meeting recording.

14

Newsletters

Full pieces for regular sends, one per behavior, with no repeated angle between sends.

7

Micronewsletters

Single-idea reminders to slot between campaigns without adding reading load.

6

Exams

Five by topic plus one integrated assessment. They measure the baseline before training and the result afterwards.

2

Surveys

One asks staff how they actually use AI, the other asks leadership how tools get approved. That is what the rest of the program is built on.

14

AI tool impersonation simulations

Twelve phishing campaigns that mimic notifications from the AI tools most common at work, from chat assistants and browser extensions to fake IT notices approving a new tool. Two ransomware scenarios use the same pretext, plus an Educational Moment on the messaging assistant that turned out to be malware.

The behaviors it covers

Every piece works on one concrete day-to-day decision.

  • Prompt hygiene. What information never goes into a chatbot, and how to rephrase a request without exposing data.
  • Shadow AI. The tool someone added on their own, the account they signed in with, and where the data ended up.
  • Verification. The figures and quotes a model fills in by itself, and what to check before forwarding a result.
  • Assistants and agents. How many permissions a browser extension actually needs, and what an agent does when it acts on your behalf.
  • Internal policy. How the organization’s AI policy translates into the decisions of an ordinary workday.
  • AI governance. Leadership’s mandate on what gets approved, who answers for it and how it is documented.
  • Meeting recording. Consent, custody and retention of automatic transcripts.
  • Impersonation. Cloned voices, synthetic video and contacts who are not who they claim to be.

The catalog gets reviewed as new techniques appear

Content is developed by specialists and updated on a regular basis, because attack techniques change and awareness content that goes unreviewed loses relevance fast.

White-label

The pieces carry no logo or name of ours, so your organization distributes them as its own.

In the platform languages

The predefined content catalog is available in the languages the platform has enabled.

From catalog to send

From any content record you can open campaign creation with that piece already selected, with no rebuilding.

Over 700 organizations already run their program with SMARTFENSE

For more than 10 years we have worked with organizations in banking, healthcare, the public sector and critical infrastructure to reduce human risk and to leave auditable evidence that they do. With AI, that evidence has a new audience. The same traceability that answers an ISO 27001 audit today also answers anyone asking how the staff using AI systems were trained.
