The Ransomware Simulator is compatible with Microsoft Windows operating system.
Once you have downloaded the .ZIP file corresponding to the simulator, unzip its contents and run as administrator the file named install.bat. To do this, right-click on the file and select the Run as administrator option from the context menu.
Once the installation is finished, you will be able to find a shortcut to the Ransomware Simulator on your desktop.
In the installation process, a folder will be created in C:\smartfense. Inside this folder the encryption attempts of the different types of Ransomware to be simulated will be performed.
